Acclaim Entertainment war ein amerikanischer Spiele-Entwickler und -Publisher.
Die Firma wurde 1987 gegründet und ging 2004 pleite.
Die Gründer, die zuvor für Activision gearbeitet hatten, achteten darauf, daß der Name ihrer neuen Firma alphabetisch vor Activision und Accolade rangierte, einer weiteren Firma ehemaliger Activision-Mitarbeiter.
Der Inhaber der Namensrechte und des Logos, Howard Marks, gründete 2006 Acclaim Games.
2010 wurde auch Acclaim Games geschlossen.
