Jahrgang 77. Im wunderbaren Ruhrpott zur Welt gekommen (Bottrop). Erste Erfahrungen mit dem Familien VCS 2600 von Atari gesammelt, ab ca. 1983 auf Papas C64 gespielt und davon geträumt Englisch zu können und diese ganze geheimnisvolle Welt zu erkunden. Später dann Umstieg auf den Amiga und irgendwann Mitte der 1990er auf einen PC (da beginnt der Kampf um möglichst viele KBites, um Wing Commander, Ultima und Co. zu spielen). Meine aktive Zockerkarriere endet dann mit dem Beginn des Studiums. Klar hab ich immer wieder mal was gespielt, aber a) gabs viel interessantere Dinge, b) hatte ich viel zu tun und wenig Geld und c) hat mich vieles dann auch nicht mehr so interessiert.
